Swimming Information

The Lake is open to members and their guests only, every day from May to September inclusive. Senior members (18 and over) can bring a maximum of two guests to the Lake. Junior guests must demonstrate the ability to swim 50 metres by taking a swimming test at the Lake. Please note, for safety reasons we do not allow entry to the Lake by members of the general public.

Membership

If you can demonstrate that you can swim fifty metres in the Lake, you are welcome to apply to join the Club.

Please note, swimming membership is currently full. We have also had to close the waiting list because of huge demand. We cannot therefore accept any more applications for membership. We will review this in April 2011 and may re-open the waiting list at this date. People currently on the waiting list may have to wait several years before they are offered full membership.

Opening Times

Swimming hours are as follows:

May and September

Daily: 11.00am to 7.00pm

June, July and August

Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays: 11.00am to 7.30pm

Fridays: 7.15am to 7.30pm

Sundays: 10.00am to 7.00pm (10.00am - 11.00am Triathlon Training Only)
